The Czech Treibball Championship took place on September 11-12, 2021 in Heroltice and it was a two-day event. The area in Heroltice offers, in addition to a playground for races, the possibility of accommodation and meals, which is pleasant for a two-day event.
Aisha competed in the highest class TRB 3 L, Barnie, due to the age of 11.5 years, we moved to the lower class TRB 2 L, where there are fewer balls and a shorter distance. It was a wise decision because the races were demanding and in the afternoon it was very hot.
The first day took place an individual race with a very demanding SMART run, the second day was offered an interesting and fun team race. In the individual race, Aisha won and took over the winning relay and the championship title in the highest class TRB 3 L after her mother Barnie. Aisha and her team won also the team race the next day. Barnie won the individual race in the TRB 2 L class and her team placed the second in the team competition.
In addition to Barnie and Aisha, we were also pleased with other teams that train with us in Pesopark. Zuzana and Keri won in the TRB 2 S class, Pavla and Šon placed the second at their first start at the Czech Championships and together with Jirka and Pretty they helped Milan with Aisha and Barnie to the first and second places in the team competition. Because we didn't have any beginners with us from Pesopark, we had to "borrow" them from other treibball schools. Petra with Alpi and Veronika with Ricki in the first part of the team race were great. Foreign participants did not come this year and the championship was intimate - 20 participants gathered at the start. The tasks were challenging, so completing them and achieving a good placement was not easy. The results of the races are available here: Individuals , Teams .
Thanks for the beautiful performances belong to the carefully prepared racing teams, for the smooth running of the races to all those who took care of them during the preparation and then on the spot. The main thanks are due to Renata Kolomazníková and Věra Janatová as the main organizers. The main judge Monika Kalábová and her husband, who took care of the technical support of the races, including the processing of the results, also made a great contribution to the smooth and pleasant course of the races. Everything was prepared very carefully, and the competitors took home beautiful trophies and rich prizes. St. Peter also contributed to the pleasant atmosphere of the races, he ensured beautiful (in the afternoon, a little too warm) weather.
We liked the atmosphere of the races - in addition to nice racing performances, we also had a lot of fun there.
